Reviewing the Oster Fast Feed / Wahl

Every once and a while I may let myself go and my hair gets a little out of hand. Back in the day, my go to clippers was a set of Wahl clippers that i picked up from a CVS or Walgreens along the way. For a quick zero trim before you get your razor out, they do a great job! But if you want to go to the next level, may I suggest picking up a pair of Oster Fast feed clippers. They’ll run a little more expensive than the Wahl clippers that you can pick up at a pharmacy, but they’ll be able to give you a little closer shave and more a more precise line for your beard. You’ll find them on Amazon for about $60.

If your looking for something a little cheaper, but will still do the job, go for a Wahl clipper set from CVS, Walgreens, or just go to amazon. They’re effective and efficient and come with decent guards. The the blade at a zero gap won’t be as close, and they’re a little loud. But they are a work horse, and if you also trim your chest, theses are what you’ll want to use for that. They run about $30-$40.

Note: I also picked up a ceramic blade that’ll reduce the zero gap to a legit ZERO gap. BE CAREFUL AS YOU CAN CUT YOURSELF IF YOU AREN’T CAREFUL! But it’ll give you a beautiful line!) You may also want to invest in some magnetic guards from Andis, as the guards that come with the Oster aren’t the best quality and are kinda flimsy.
